Hello guys we are here to proudly present Dual Boot Patcher for MT65XX Devices (Dual Boot your Android). With this you will be able to install multiple custom OS on your Android MT65XX device. The idea, concept and development of dual boot patcher credit goes to Alsan Parajuli. Because of him we are successfully and proudly presenting you Dual Boot Patcher for MT65XX Devices. But before starting lets learn how to use it.
What is dual Boot?
A dual boot system is a mobile phone system in which two operating systems, i.e two custom ROMs are installed on the same memory drive, allowing either operating system to be loaded and given control at a time. When you turn the phone on, a boot manager program displays a menu, allowing you to choose the operating system you wish to use. A boot manager works by replacing the original Master Boot Record (MBR) with its own so that the boot manager program loads instead of an operating system. Since more than two operating systems can be installed on a mobile device, the term multiboot system is sometimes used.
How dual Boot Works?
Your smartphone stock ROM is generally installed on its internal storage. When you boot your smartphone, the BIOS loads the boot loader from the hard drive and the boot loader boots the installed stock or custom operating system.
There’s no limit to the number of operating systems you he installed, i.e your device is not only limited to one operating system. You could put a external SD card into your device & install a custom ROM to it. This also allows you to choose which hard drive to boot in your boot menu. An example of a computer with multiple operating systems per storage device is a dual-booting computer that stores both Windows and Linux on the same disk drive. In this case a multi-booting boot loader is necessary. Also, the disk must be partitioned to give each operating system its own partition on the disk drive
Why to Dual boot Android Device?
Whether you want to test out a new ROM for daily use or just keep an eye on one that’s being developed, you can run multiple ROMs on your rooted Android phone with Dual Boot Patcher, and pick which one to use when you start it up. The great thing about Android is that there are so many possibilities for customising your device, but sometimes too much choice can be a bad thing!
Maybe you’re struggling to choose between a handful of custom ROMs, and wish there was a way to quickly test them all out without having to go through the laborious process of wiping your device and flashing each ROM in turn. Or maybe you like certain aspects of one ROM and certain aspects of another, and wish there was a way to easily switch between them. If either of these sound like you, then it may be useful for you to give Dual Boot Patcher for MT65XX Devices a try.
Having multiple ROMs to choose from is great, but flashing and re-flashing new ROMs just to try them out is annoying. If you want to try one out but don’t want to fully flash it over your current ROM, Dual Boot Patcher will let you flash it (and up to three others) to your SD card, so you can try multiple ROMs at once. The ROMs you run from your SD card won’t be quite as fast, and not every ROM out there will work, but it should give you a chance to try out most other ROMs without fully flashing them.
What does the Dual Boot Patcher Do?
-> Custom kernels for dual boot support
